GALOXO is operated by DASONS FL USA LLC, a company registered in Florida, United States ("we", "us", "our"). We operate this store and website, including all related content, features, tools, products and services (the "Services"). GALOXO is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose your personal information when you visit or use the Services, make a purchase, or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls in relation to personal information.
By using the Services you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand how your information is collected, used and disclosed.
1. Personal information we collect
"Personal information" means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. Depending on how you interact with the Services and where you live, we may collect or process:
- Contact details — your name, billing address, shipping address, phone number and email address.
- Payment information — payment card details, transaction details, form of payment and payment confirmation. Card numbers are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by us.
- Account information — username, password, preferences and settings, where you create an account.
- Order information — the items you view, add to your cart, purchase, return, exchange or cancel, and your order history.
- Communications with us — the content of emails, WhatsApp messages, phone calls and support requests.
- Device information — your device, browser, network connection, IP address and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information — how and when you interact with and navigate the Services.
2. Where the information comes from
- Directly from you, when you order, create an account, or contact us.
- Automatically from your device, through cookies and similar technologies when you use the Services.
- From our service providers, such as Shopify, our payment processors, our fulfilment and shipping partners, and our analytics and advertising partners.
3. How we use your personal information
- Providing the Services. To process your payment, fulfil and ship your order, handle returns, refunds and exchanges, manage your account, send order and delivery notifications, and provide customer support.
- Marketing and advertising. To send marketing emails you have signed up for, and to show you advertising for our products on other websites and platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram). You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.
- Security and fraud prevention. To authenticate accounts, provide a secure checkout, and detect, investigate and act on fraudulent, unsafe or unlawful activity.
- Improving the Services. To understand how our store is used and to make it work better.
- Legal reasons. To comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal requests, and enforce our terms and policies.
4. Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to operate the store, remember your cart and preferences, measure performance, and deliver and measure advertising. This includes the Meta pixel and Shopify's own analytics. Where required by law, we ask for your consent through the cookie banner before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through that banner. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the store may then not work correctly.
5. How we disclose personal information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may disclose it in the following circumstances:
- With Shopify and other vendors who perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, fulfilment and shipping, IT and cloud hosting, customer support and analytics.
- With advertising and marketing partners, so that we can show you relevant advertising. Depending on where you live, this may be considered "sharing" or "selling" of personal information for targeted advertising, and you may have the right to opt out. See section 7 below.
- When you ask us to, or consent to it.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or sale of assets.
- To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, ourselves or others.
6. Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit is transmitted to and shared with Shopify and with third parties that may be located in countries other than the one you live in. To learn how Shopify uses your personal information and what rights you may have, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights. These rights are not absolute and may not apply in every case.
- Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Deletion. Request that we delete personal information we hold about you.
- Correction. Request that we correct inaccurate personal information.
- Portability. Request that we transfer your information to a third party, where technically feasible.
- Opt out of targeted advertising. Ask us to stop sharing your information for targeted advertising. You can do this yourself at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page, or by emailing us. If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control signal enabled, we treat that as an opt-out request for that browser and device.
- Marketing preferences. Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email. We may still send you non-promotional messages about your account or orders.
If you live in the UK or the European Economic Area, you additionally have the right to object to or restrict our processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@galoxo.store with the subject line "Privacy Request". We may need to verify your identity before we act, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may appoint an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf; we will ask for proof of that authorisation. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
8. Children's data
Our products are made for young children, but the Services themselves are intended to be used by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at contact@galoxo.store and we will delete it. As of the date of this policy we do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16 years of age.
9. Security and retention
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive or confidential information to us through insecure channels. We keep your personal information for as long as we need it to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
10. International transfers
We may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in, including in the United States. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK equivalent, unless the destination country has been recognised as providing an adequate level of protection.
11. Third-party websites and links
The Services may link to websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for their privacy or security practices or for the accuracy of their content. Please review their policies before providing them with your information.
12. Complaints
If you have a complaint about how we handle your personal information, contact us using the details below and we will try to resolve it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the EEA, the list of supervisory authorities is available here.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date, and give notice where required by law.
